St. Hedwig's. Overlooking lake Kamaniskeg.

Welcome to Barry's Bay

The sign at the east end of town as you enter from Algonquin Park on Highway 60.

The Rocks

This is a memorable place for me. The 'Jumping Rocks' on Trout Lake near Carson Lake Provincial Park.

One Stop Shopping

This is a great little store on the east end of town. You can buy worms, minnows, leeches, fishing line, bongs, rolling papers, hydroponic (growing) supplies, etc. There is also a funny smell of hashish in the air, but that probably comes from the stuff they pack the worms in. Very nice owners. This used to be a Polish deli - a very good one.

Three Way Stop

The "Three Way Stop" - Barry's Bay's main intersection as seen by arriving on Highway 62. The Bank of Montreal has been there ever since I can remember.

Grumblin' Grannies

What visit to Barry's Bay isn't complete without a stop at this treasure shop. Almost anyone who has passed through Barry's Bays on the way to Algonquin Park has at least one item from this popular store in their home.
